Inappropriate Images

posted in: Erotic, nude, outdoors | 15

These pictures from my new project I have been working hard on over the Christmas holidays. I thought of what the streets might look like if inappropriate content could be seen in the streets.

My first trip was to take background images was to the West End of London. I had not been there for some years and discovered that some buildings had huge posters on their sides and others being renovated had posters and hoardings sometimes up to the height of two floors. This phenomenon was new to me

Wandsworth Road

Oxford Street 1

Royal Academy of Arts

Vauxhall Cross

Southwark Cathedral

Foubert’s Place

Oxford Street 2

Oxford Street 3

Lambeth Road

London Bridge

These are great Alva. I love the idea. More?!?!??

  2. Love it…. thats a lot of cutting and masking Alva. Great Work. This has to go to print.

  3. No more yet Geoff, you have to leave them wanting more. I’ll put up others in the fullness of time. I want to photograph the courtyard of the Royal Academy, the two Tates, the National Gallery and perhaps some big name independent galleries.

  4. I had to get reacquainted with the pen tool but the hardest part was deciding what images went together and try to work up the enthusiasm to scan my old film. I first tried something similar with video remember? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhC_fzuxNOY

What a load of shit. Seriously. About the most shocking thing about this ‘art’ is that the pictures are terrible.

Number three is the best. The woman looks like she did a double take, then I did one too when I noticed the guy wasn’t on both sides of the mirror. Excellent.

  7. The inset pictures were originally taken as standalone images. For the series I am using images I have used before as well as others I have never shown.

The word “inappropriate” does not mean what you think it means.

  11. You made me check out my dictionary and I find it does mean what I think it means.
